Hello Fox Valley Community. This storm was a devastating tragedy on our communities, Gilbert Construction will be in Menasha, assisting with the cleanup effort today. If you are in this area and are in need of assistance please reach out, and let our team know how we can figure out a solution together, and help get our community back to the beautiful place it once was before this unexpected disaster.
1. Emergency services call the shots. Therefore what they do comes first, so at the time they are directing everyone away from Menasha, so we are waiting for their instructed time to come through and help out our community.
2. If you have a tree on you home or roof, we are willing to assist in removal as best as we can. We will take the proper steps to ensure we do the removal in the most safe, efficient, and supportive way possible, to limit additional damage.
3. Safety is the main concern in times like this. Trees and tree limbs are very heavy. Chainsaws can cut through just about anything…including your own skin… it will just keep going as the saw has no discretion between what’s you and the wood. So please be careful, wear the proper protective equipment, and put your safety before anything else.
4. We are here to help however we can. You can either reach out to me personally (920-851-0130), through Gilbert Construction LLC, or messages through Facebook. Our team will be working continuously over the next few weeks on getting our community back on its feet and administering our services in the way that is best for you.
5. Unfortunately in times like this, door knockers and scammers will come through at their opportune time, sometimes from out of state, and attempt to take advantage of you and your family in order to get a quick profit back into their own pockets. Don’t fall for that trick, turn to businesses in our community, because those are the people who know what it’s like and want to make a difference. This is why it is critical to contact someone who is trustworthy and has shown reputable service time and time again, like Gilbert Construction, a company that prides itself on customer satisfaction and quality.
6. Lastly, show empathy and compassion to others. Catastrophic events are hard on everybody and by taking a little time to understand what people are going through goes a long way in all of us getting through this together.
Remember, we’re all in this together… so let’s work together as a community. Lend a hand where you can, and ask for help if you need it. The only way to get through tragic times like this is to work through it together.
