“One veteran. Three local businesses. One amazing community. 🇺🇸❤️
🇺🇸 This Wasn’t Just Another Landscaping Project 🇺🇸
At Galliher’s Landscaping, we believe that some projects mean more than curb appeal.
Recently, we had the privilege of renovating the front landscape of a deserving local veteran’s home right here in the Fox Valley. Through the incredible work of the Fox Valley Veterans Council, we were connected with a veteran who could use a helping hand, and we were honored to answer the call.
The transformation you see in these photos is about much more than mulch, plants, and edging. It’s about a community coming together to show appreciation for someone who has served our country.
A project like this doesn’t happen alone, and we’d like to recognize the amazing organizations that stepped up to help:
🌿 Fox Valley Veterans Council – Thank you for everything you do to support local veterans and their families.
🌿 Schmalz Landscaping & Garden Center – Thank you for generously donating plants and materials to help make this project possible.
🍎 Sprangers Orchard & Schmalz Acres Adventure Zone – Thank you for supporting this effort and for continually investing back into our local community.
As we celebrate community partnerships like this, we’re also excited for the upcoming America 250 Adventure Zone Corn Maze at Sprangers Orchard and Schmalz Acres Adventure Zone. 🇺🇸
The maze is designed to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and is another example of local businesses creating experiences that bring families, neighbors, and communities together.
Most importantly, we’d like to thank the veteran homeowner for his service and sacrifice. It was truly an honor to give back in a small way to someone who has given so much.
❤️ We are grateful to serve the Fox Valley and proud to be part of a community where local businesses, organizations, and residents come together to make a difference.
If you support our veterans, local businesses, and community partnerships like this, we’d appreciate a share.
