Proud to be part of the renovation of the University of Florida’s O’Connell Center pool alongside Myrtha Pools, Water Technology, Inc., and Decker Construction. A great project and an exciting transformation for the Gators!

University of Florida: Gainesville, Florida
Consider it a deeply satisfying re-opening of the University of Florida’s O’Connell Center for Myrtha Pools USA Southeast Sales Manager Adam Sioui. A highly decorated alum of the fabulous Gators swimming program, Adam joined Myrtha in 2016 and set about helping update the O’Connell Center. His patience paid off, and the reimagined pool is ready for an entirely new run at greatness. It has undergone Myrtha’s RenovAction process, by which our patented PVC-laminated stainless steel panels are clad to the existing concrete structures in order to create a completely new pool. The new pool also has a freshly installed Myrtha gutter for excellent water circulation, new gear in the mechanical room, a set of 16 Myrtha starting blocks and backstroke ledges, plus a pair of new Paddock bulkheads. Water Technology, Inc., led the way on aquatic engineering, with Weller Pools installing the RenovAction system and Decker Construction contributing to the overall build.
