Are you having site work or land clearing done and want to preserve certain trees on your property?

Give us a call BEFORE the work is done or your trees may end up looking like this. The root damage to these trees caused them to become extremely stressed making them an easy target for boring insects.

We set up tree protection zones and create a clearing plan to protect the trees you actually want to survive!

Why pay an arborist to plant your tree when the nursery’s quote was cheaper? 🌳 💵

DETAILS!

Our owner Alex did an assessment on this declining tree and determined that the tree had been planted about 4 inches too deep and mulched up to the base 2 inches more than it should have been.

These details seem minuscule until your investment starts to die.

We put LOVE into every tree we plant!!

We expose the root collar(nurseries also often bury the root collar when replanting), cut any girdling roots, trim the canopy to prevent any major defects down the road and properly blend compost and nutrients into the existing soil upon planting.

These details seem small but that’s the difference between your investment surviving or thriving.

Call or text us to schedule a tree install done right!

Training our new estimator, Trevor! We held out for Trevor for a long time. Alex refused to let go of sales until we could find someone who knew more about tree health than himself and that person is Trevor.

Bringing over 20+ years of experience in the tree world with him! He’s not just reading a book and telling you what should be done, he has real world experience watching the trees he’s cared for and how they’ve reacted over a long time horizon.

At Sacred Tree Service we don’t just throw a price at you for the work you want done. We consult with our clients, listen to their goals and make recommendations to balance that with the long term health of the trees. We are not a cut and run company, we don’t want to senselessly remove trees. We sell our jobs with the perspective of a 15+ year time horizon and pruning plan for the trees so they can live a long healthy live.

Some cities are beginning to really double down on code enforcement.

On any removals we have coinciding arborist reports written and submitted to our customers and put in our records before work is started.

We recently removed a 2 Foot DBH Laurel Oak in Ocoee and within three hours of us leaving the job site Code Enforcement had pinned a fine to the door. At $250 per inch of caliper that fine came out to over 5,000 for a medium sized tree. Because we are diligent in protecting our clients we were able to submit that arborist letter to the city and the fee was waived.

We had another client recently in Mt. Dora who was new to the city and not familiar with the municipal code. She had over 10 trees on her small property and some Laurel Oaks in decline so she hired a door knocking tree service to remove a few trees. The did not notify her of the municipal code or the possibility of fines. These companies often get away with it and no-one notices the tree is gone. This time was different. The city took notice and decided to make an example out of her with over 10,000 in fines and requiring many more trees be planted on her property for replacement.

We got a call from this client for the planting of the trees after they went through all that. After she explained all this we had a tree inventory done on the property and were able to get the city to decrease the fines and the amount of trees they were requiring them to plant and saved them over $10,000.

Do your research and hire a company who is familiar with your areas municipal codes and acceptable reasons for removal so you don't end up on the hook for a large fine.
