view Drive in Apollo, Pennsylvania where we have 45,000 square feet of office, shop and garage facilities on 20 acres.The facility operates in a green manner, with on-site gas generation from our own well, green roofs, water recycling, metal recycling, wood waste recycling, etc. ERI also owns over 100 units of heavy equipment, many of which are specialized for efficiently working on restoration projects.

Over the years, erosion has reconfigured the banks and threatens to expose city owned underground infrastructure that passes in close proximity. The Philadelphia Water Department and the US Army Corps of Engineers designed a remedy and employed Ecological Restoration, Inc. to implement the work which consisted of regrading, installing 4,000 ton of large rock for bank stabilization and in-stream rock structures, concrete abutment demolition, and site restoration including over 12,000 plants. The 2,000 lf of creek grading, stone work and demolition, in tight working conditions, was completed in three weeks working 12 hours a day, 6 day a week, with the planting and site restoration activities the following two weeks.

North Park Lake is the largest lake in Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, PA. It had filled up with sediment. The lake was drained and dredged. It took 3 years to do the work. Ecological Restoration, Inc. was hired to install biologs around the lake and plant the benches and banks with native plants. There were miles of biologs on this project.
