About 6 weeks ago I had to face the reality that owning a business comes with a lot of unexpected challenges and expenses. One of those was âhow do I work 40 (really 70-80) hours a week and still have time for my kids, husband, friends and family, cleaning, cookingâŠ.â
The list went on. I kept falling further behindâŠ.
But letâs backup one moment: As I was recovering from surgery I had reached out on a whim to someone on FB for cleaning prices. They sent their pricing and asked a few questions but didnât push me to make a decision.
âŠ.back to the story where I was falling behindâŠ.
Despite new systems, asking my own kids to shoulder additional responsibility, I was still trying to figure out how to do it all. The reality is that I canât. I donât have enough time.
You may have heard me talk about âbuilding a longer tablet rather than a higher fenceâ and I truly believe that. When we come together as community to lift one another up, or take a moment to remind someone to stand tall and straighten their crown because they donât realize itâs fallen crooked, we add value to our lives and our community. So, I remembered that one-off text I sent to âa random cleaning ladyâ.
Enter Leann of Five Blessings Cleaning Co. (Iâll tag her below!).
The way she came in, cleaned my home from top to bottom, even going the extra mile to snap a picture of the placement of the âfridge stuffâ so it could go back exactly where it had been, sans dirt & stickiness.
She cleans at the shop for us, too. If youâve been in and noticed things are a little shinier than before thatâs not your eyes playing tricks. Leann has been helping me chip away at the cleaning to bring my vision for this business to life.
Sheâs not just the person who removes the dirt & cat fur from my house, sheâs become part of our Pine Run Family as well. If you are looking for someone to clean your home (or business!) I cannot recommend Leann highly enough.
Wednesday is her day at my house and itâs the most perfect mid-week pick me up.
