A second-floor bathroom leak can damage much more than the bathroom. The water seeped through the floor damaging the subfloor, drywall, framing, and the entire downstairs floor. We removed only the wet drywall, dried the subfloor, and saved part of the original tile. The homeowner's new flooring color now ties the whole living area together.

When water damage strikes, you have the right to choose your own restoration contractor.

This customer chose Professional Restoration Services after their bathroom flooded, because they wanted the work done right. Insurance claims are generally designed to return your home to its condition before the loss, and this homeowner decided to add some upgrades beyond that during the rebuild. We loved getting to be part of that, and we're thrilled with how it turned out!

This has been a historic year for our country and our community. Our nation celebrated its 250th anniversary, and we paused to remember the lives lost and the heroes who answered the call 25 years ago on September 11, 2001.

As we reflect on those who have served, we are also reminded of the incredible people who continue to serve our communities every day. This week, we were grateful for the opportunity to recognize some of these local heroes at the Fuquay-Varina Heroes Breakfast and the Apex Chamber of Commerce First Responders Appreciation Event.

To our first responders, past and present, thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and commitment to the communities we call home.
