✨ **Raleigh Kitchen Refresh! A Fresh Coat, a Like-New Look!** ✨

Even white cabinets can show their age! This Raleigh kitchen had areas of discoloration around cooking zones and everyday wear and tear around the k***s and one warped door in need of replacing. With a fresh coat of professional cabinet coating and a new upper door, these cabinets look beautiful and refreshed! 🤍

For this transformation, we used **ICRO 5500 20 in Sherwin-Williams Chantilly Lace**, catalyzed with **W-700 non-isocyanate catalyst** for enhanced durability and long-lasting performance.

The result? A clean, crisp white finish that brings new life to this kitchen while preserving the cabinetry the homeowners already love.

At **A La Carte Cabinet Painting**, we believe beautiful results start with quality products, expert preparation, and attention to every detail.

📍 Proudly serving Apex, Holly Springs, Cary, Raleigh, Fuquay-Varina, and the greater Triangle area.

✨ **From dirty, damaged & less than desired… to CLEAN, CRISP & COMPLETELY REFINISHED!** ✨

This Cary kitchen got a serious overhaul! 🙌

What you don’t always see in the *after* photos is the amount of detailed preparation that goes into creating a beautiful, durable finish.

In addition to all of our regular prep work, this kitchen required us to:

✔️ Remove **all of the old, cracked original caulking**
✔️ Fill **30 existing hardware Absolutely — here’s a polished Facebook post that highlights the transformation and the amount of detailed prep that went into it:

This kitchen got a serious overhaul! 🙌

What you don’t always see in the *after* photos is the amount of detailed preparation that goes into creating a beautiful, durable finish.

In addition to all of our regular prep work, this kitchen required us to:

✔️ Remove **all of the old, cracked original caulking**
✔️Glue & repair broken joints on several items
✔️ Fill **30 existing hardware holes**
✔️ Drill **85 brand-new holes** for the new hardware
✔️ Thoroughly clean & sand back failing and poorly painted surface
✔️ Refinish the cabinetry using **ICRO**, our professional-grade Italian coating system

This is why we say that cabinet refinishing is about so much more than simply changing the color. **Proper preparation is the foundation of a beautiful, long-lasting finish.**

You don’t always have to replace your cabinets to love your kitchen again. Sometimes, the right preparation + professional refinishing can make all the difference. ❤️

# # # ✨ Sometimes You Don’t Have to Replace—You Can Refresh! ✨

This Fuquay Varina kitchen is a perfect example of why **replacement isn’t always necessary**!

These MDF cabinets were originally wrapped in **Thermafoil**. We carefully removed the Thermafoil and all of the adhesive, then thoroughly prepped, primed and professionally sprayed the cabinetry with **ICRO 5500 water-based polyurethane**.

The result? A completely refreshed kitchen with a beautiful, durable painted finish—**without replacing the cabinets!** 🙌

Sometimes, you don’t have to start over. **Sometimes you can save what you have and give it a whole new life.** ❤️

Believe it or not… **we’re already booking into 2027!** 😳🎨

And if you’re thinking about giving your kitchen a fresh new look, this article from *House Beautiful* is a really interesting read.

Designers are predicting that 2027 kitchens will continue moving away from the ultra-minimal, all-white “showroom” look and toward spaces that feel **warmer, more personalized, and more like the heart of the home.** Think furniture-inspired cabinetry, statement islands, warm tonal colors, natural materials, decorative lighting, and kitchens designed for actually *living* in.

And we have to say… **we’re seeing many of these ideas already!**

One of the easiest ways to completely change the personality of your kitchen without replacing perfectly good cabinetry is a professional cabinet transformation. A new color can make existing cabinets feel completely different — whether you’re leaning toward a warm neutral, a timeless white, a moody green, or something a little more unexpected.

✨ **Considering a kitchen transformation in 2027? Now is the time to start planning.**

Our calendar is already beginning to fill, and we book projects based on signed service agreements and deposits.

👇 Check out the article and tell us what you think of these predicted 2027 kitchen trends!

# # # ✨ From Worn & Brushy to Beautifully Refreshed! ✨

This kitchen transformation is a perfect example of what **professional cabinet refinishing can do—even when the existing coating has seen better days!**

These cabinets had been previously painted with **heavy brush marks throughout**, along with significant wear and tear from years of use. While completely stripping the cabinets would have been cost-prohibitive for this project, we weren’t willing to settle for anything less than a beautiful result.

Our team went to work **carefully sanding and smoothing the existing coating**, creating the best possible surface for a new professional finish. Then we let our **ICRO water-based cabinet coating** do what it does best—**level beautifully to minimize surface imperfections and create a smooth, durable finish.**

The result? A kitchen that feels **fresh, clean, bright and beautifully renewed** without the expense of replacing the cabinetry. 🤍

And the best part? **Our homeowner was absolutely thrilled!** She was kind enough to write us a heartfelt **5-star review**, sharing how we went above and beyond her expectations. Those reviews mean so much to our small business! ❤️

Sometimes a cabinet transformation isn't about starting from scratch—it's about **knowing how to work with what you have and bringing it back to life.**
