Pretty cool little job here. Customer wanted his galvanized chimney cap replaced with something that’ll last him a life time. In response I built him a new cap out of stainless with a modified design that has longer flanges and no flat shelf after the top cross break that’ll help shed water better. Love working with stainless!

Happy tig tuesday! Have some time in between jobs this week to get some shop stuff taken care of. One of which is a material rack setup for the shop rig! The rear rack will be fully height adjustable as well as angle adjustable to haul both full length sticks of material and full size sheets of material.

This is just a small example of the types of things that are possible! Afternoon everyone. With the events of yesterday’s storm I would like to offer my services to anyone in need these upcoming few days, while things plain out. Being a fabricator, I’m not sure if there really is anything I can offer that will help but I’m up to support the effort! I have my big generator on my rig that can supply anyone with ample power. I can also bring out any welding and fabrication equipment for repairs on whatever might need it with the clean up effort. I have a plasma cutter I can bring out as well. A small removable handrail job for a customer that I just finished install on! Customer wanted this handrail easily removable while keeping the feet in place all year round. So I went with 316 1 5/8” solid round posts with 1/4” 316 foot pads and two cup style set screws to keep it in place while staying extremely ridged. He wanted the handrail portion to be mild steel with powder. I think it turned out great! Get ahold of me for all your handrail needs!

Excited to announce I’m officially completely mobile with a 14,500 surge watt 240/110 generator I’ll be able to take fabrication/repairs to virtually anywhere. I designed and fabricated this enclosure to keep the generator sealed. Other than my botched paint job 🤣, I think it turned out pretty good!

Welcome to Vectra Fabrication & Design! I'm officially launching my page as I've acquired all my necessary equipment to take on all the work that I offer! Very excited about this as I've been getting everything arranged within my shop and with legal work, to make sure I am doing everything correctly as this is my first job being my own boss!
