Scaffolding finally came down from our fall project — a total point-out of the front and back of this historic home, completed using a one-of-one, custom-formulated lime mortar incorporating locally sourced oyster shell.

In addition to the full re-pointing, we rebuilt and reset all windowsills to match the original character and structural integrity of the home.

All work performed in full compliance with state and local permitting.

Complete restoration is underway on this 250+ year old fireplace originally used as the home’s kitchen when the house was first built in 1770. This hearth once provided all the hot water for bathing and handled all the cooking for the entire home.
