💚 October 10 is World Mental Health Day. The Roll Around Aversary celebration is the following week and an opportunity to carry that spirit of awareness and support into our community.
Youth mental health is a big part of why we’re involved. School pressures, feeling disconnected, and trying to find where you fit can be a lot. We want young people to have positive outlets for expression, opportunities to build friendships, and a community that welcomes them.
Sometimes that connection starts with a shared love of music, a skateboard, or someone cheering you on.
Come be part of the day:
🎤 A stage and sound for local performers! Sing, play an instrument, or bring your band—we’d love to hear you.
🛹 Skateboard best-trick competitions at Terrapin Skatepark, with cash prizes for first, second, and third place.
🏆 Fingerboarding at Roll Around Workshop, plus sponsor prizes and giveaways. A big thank-you to Blackriver and FlatFace for their support!
You don’t have to perform or compete. Come enjoy the music, meet people, and cheer everyone on.
Local businesses: want to help? Post our flyer, share this event, or contribute gift cards, coupons, shop items, or raffle prizes. Every bit of support is appreciated!
📲 To perform, compete, or help sponsor, text Ruthie at 410-310-6547. Participants or parents can text “I’m in” with the participant’s name, age, and interest.
Please share and help us reach the young people and families who would love this day!
