The Creative Restorations crew and I have been busy working on a kitchen remodel on Country Club in Murphysboro, IL over the past couple of weeks. We added 3/4" plywood and sheetrock to the walls to support granite surfaces and cherry cabinets. We wrapped up the walls and ceiling finish late this week. The Creative Restorations crew and I had a packed winter. In Anna, we worked on cedar porch posts, soffit and fascia, and installed a new patio door. Over at Murphysboro Lake, we tackled a water damage project that involved laying Revwood laminate flooring, tiling bathroom floors, adding vanities, and doing trim work. In Galatia, IL, we rebuilt a two-story deck and will be back in the spring to add a metal ceiling and custom railing to match the existing railing. In Vienna, IL, we converted a front porch into living space, and back in Anna, we wrapped up a composite deck along with fence and brush removal. This month has been an exciting endeavor, transforming an existing garage into a stunning pool house. The job features Mohawk flooring, painted trim, and crown molding. The cabinets and windows are scheduled to arrive next week. I installed double-hung windows in Carbondale on Tuesday and we installed mosaic tile in a bathroom today.
