Some highlights from the turf field going in at Canterbury School.

You can take a peak at the granite layer of this open grade base system; 6 inches of 1" gravel (recycled concrete) and about a 1.5" layer of 3/8" granite which is what you see under the turf.

We had eleven 105' seams and a head-to-head seam running the length of the field.

We're so happy with how everything came out and ahead of schedule!

We started this job earlier this year and have been waiting for the dock to be complete to finish the backyard. This is a full property renovation; we are capping it off with artificial turf and landscaping for the last beds.

We are using beautiful natural stone edgers here which we've used on beds through the whole property.

The turf is a gorgeous multi-tone, usa made product from American Synthetic Turf

Meet the turfit crew! We cant say enough good things about these guys right here. Every single person shows up, every day, ON TIME, ready to work with a good attitude. We were given the opportunity to turf the new 17,000 sq ft play field at Canterbury School on Snell Isle in St. Petersburg. This field has a custom drainage system throughout the whole perimeter that is connected to a storm drain to ensure that it will not flood. We installed six inches of 3/4 in. gravel as our subbase and one to two inches of 3/8 in. granite as our final base. We used a laser level to ensure a proper grade, and screeded the whole job by hand using 15 ft. Screeder. The turf we chose is Rymar USA Pet Flo turf that is super durable and has high drainage. We finished this job in less than 5 weeks, 1 day early, despite all the rain delays. Contact us for your commercial or residential jobs.

Since the storms, this client had some major repairs including a new seawall, a new dock, and finally finished things off with a backyard renovation. We installed a 100 oz turf, with a custom seawall drainage system, repaired pavers, and reused some nice river rock that was already on the property. The finished product is an elegant, low maintenance backyard that is perfect for enjoying life on the water.
