💧 NOTICING WATER AROUND YOUR WATER HEATER?
A small puddle might not seem like a big deal, but it's worth paying attention to! Water around your water heater can come from a loose connection, a leaking valve, condensation, or even a failing tank.
🔎 Here's what to look for:
- Water collecting around the base of your unit
- Moisture around pipes or connections
- Rust or corrosion near the tank
- Dripping from a valve or fitting
🚿 What should you do?
Don't ignore a persistent leak. Keep clear of standing water near electrical equipment and avoid touching wet electrical components. If the tank itself is leaking, it may need to be replaced.
