The 2026 NECA Trade Show brought electrical professionals together to explore the latest products, see equipment in action, and connect directly with the people behind it.

For hundreds of vendors, it’s an opportunity to showcase their newest innovations and show how they support the people doing the work. From answering technical questions to demonstrating solutions for everyday jobsite challenges, these conversations build relationships that extend well beyond the trade show floor.

It was a privilege to walk the floor, learn from industry experts, and take in so much knowledge along the way. Thank you to the exhibitors who shared their time, expertise, and enthusiasm for our trade!

Before data centers and cordless tools, there were 49 contractors with an idea.

In 1901, contractors from 18 cities across eight states came together to establish the National Electrical Contractors Association - NECA. The history displays at the 2026 NECA Convention traced 125 years of innovation, partnership, and progress in electrical construction.

Here in Arizona, our own chapter’s story began in 1947. A special shout-out to Chapter Manager Debra Margraf for her leadership and dedication to keeping that legacy moving forward!

The NECA–IBEW partnership comes to life in our classrooms, training labs, and jobsites as apprentices develop the skills to power our communities. They’re stepping into that history, and helping write its next chapter.

Swipe through for a walk through the decades!
