We’re excited to shine the spotlight on Billy, one of our outstanding Project Managers. When he’s not leading projects in the Des Moines area, he has been doing an incredible job leading our Eastern Iowa projects.

Billy consistently goes above and beyond. He is always taking care of homeowner’s concerns, providing quick and thoughtful answers to every question, on and off the jobsite, and keeping every project running smoothly. His attention to detail shows in every part of the job from managing crews and subcontractors to keeping paperwork flawless and up to date.

Billy shows up every day ready for work, tackling challenges head-on, and is always willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. His problem-solving skills are top notch!

Since joining ICT in March of this year as a Laborer, Lorenzo has quickly become a valuable part of our team. Although he came in without prior experience in the industry, his ability to learn on the fly and adapt to new challenges has been nothing short of impressive.

Lorenzo has taken the initiative and has a strong willingness to grow in his role. He has already started to train on the mini excavator. He brings a great attitude to work every day, consistently demonstrates a solid work ethic, and maintains excellent attendance. We are excited to see him grow with us!

Brian is someone who’s made an incredible impact since rejoining ICT in March of this year as an Operator. Brian brings a wealth of industry knowledge and field experience, and his dedication and performance have been nothing short of outstanding.

Cody’s advice for anyone new to the industry is, “Be ready to get dirty and do the work.” Some challenging parts of the job for Cody is having to work in rough weather conditions.
Cody’s favorite memories are laughing and working with his crew.

Nate joined ICT in March of 2023 as a Laborer. With his incredibly hard work and dedication he has achieved the position of a Driller.
Prior to working for ICT, Nate gained hands-on experience working with gutters, windows, and siding. Although he was not familiar in this industry, this allowed him to easily transition into the Laborer position. His knowledge now encompasses many aspects of the job.
Nate’s advice for anyone new to the industry is, “Ask questions and don’t be afraid to get dirty.” The most challenging part of the job for Nate is trying to maneuver through tough ground.
Nate’s favorite part of the job is working with a crew he enjoys being around. His favorite memory so far is when he was able to get on the drill for the very first time.
In Nate’s free time, he enjoys playing games and hanging out with his friends.

Dustin joined ICT in July of 2023 as a Laborer. He has demonstrated significant growth in this role and has effectively stepped into the Mini Operator position.
Prior to working for ICT, Dustin was working as an out of state Laborer.
Dustin had some experience coming into this industry.
Dustin’s advice for anyone new to the industry is, “Be open minded, willing to learn, and never be afraid to ask questions.” Some challenging parts of the job for Dustin are digging in frozen ground and operating the mini excavator in congested, underground utilities.
Dustin’s favorite part of the job, and his favorite memory, is laughing and working with his crew.
In Dustin’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing video games and catching up on his sleep.

Matt joined ICT in September of this past year as a Foreman in training.
Prior to working for ICT, Matt was working as a Locator for another drilling company.
Matt initially started out as a Laborer in this industry and once he performed other duties and started learning more, he knew this was the line of work he wanted to thrive in, and he continues building confidence in the work he performs.
Matt’s advice for anyone new to the industry is, “Be willing to learn as much as you can because you learn a lot in no time.” One of the more challenging aspects of the job is ensuring quality work is done in a timely manner.
Matt’s favorite part of the job is getting to visit different locations of Iowa for the first time. He enjoys making memories with coworkers on and off the jobsite.
In his free time, Matt likes to fish, hunt and spend time with his family back home in Oklahoma.

Emmanuel joined ICT in May of 2022 as a Laborer.
Prior to working for ICT, Emmanuel was working overnights as a stocker for a popular grocery store chain.
Emmanuel initially had no experience in this industry, but through hard work and dedication, he has learned a great deal. He is now working as a Mini Operator and has taken on additional responsibilities.
Emmanuel’s advice for anyone new to the industry is, “Be ready to learn and show up.” One of the more challenging aspects of the job for Emmanuel is collaborating with individuals who may not be fully informed about the day’s plans or tasks.
Emmanuel’s favorite part of the job is the work itself. His best memory is simply the act of showing up to work, ready to contribute and be part of the team.
In his free time, you can find him spending time with his kids.
