One step closer to being wrapped up with the finishing touches before Drywall. A lot of little details go into the process before Drywall gets hung so that we don’t have to modify or adjust anything and do drywall repairs after the fact. This allows for the cleanest install and the best possible final product for our client clients.

For our floating shelves I always like to overbuild so they are rock solid. If we are installing floating shelving in a existing space that doesn’t have side walls, I’ve found that getting 1/2” threaded rod drilled and screwed into the studs provides for a exceptionally clean and durable install.

Not going to lie. The remodel industry is a tough one.

You spend 10-12 weeks in someone’s home getting to know them and their home. Figuring out nuances, answering questions about other areas of their homes, and spending more time in their home than your own😅

Wrapping up a project is always bittersweet and on the surface it’s really exciting, but behind the scenes you get all the feels. A hug seems unprofessional, a handshake feels to cold, and for the next 6 weeks I will probably drive past someone’s home wondering what new decor or furniture arrangement they’ve decided on.

At the end of the day we start all over with a new homeowner getting to know them and their home, and repeating the same process. And we know that one day our current clients will call us again, and for another 10-12 weeks we get to be a part of their life and live their home again🩷💜💚

We have moved from framing into the technical rough in portion of this basement which includes plumbing, HVAC and then electrical .

We always make sure to schedule the plumbers first so they can place waste and water lines where needed to allow for the most optimal routes. Next comes HVAC to run hot and cold air returns. Wrapping up our roughin portion is the electricians.

We have electricians come in last simply because the wires they run are flexible and can bend around the plumbing pipes and HVAC duct work.

This scheduling creates an efficient workflow where our technicians each have their allotted days and the project can run smoothly without any hiccups!

Asking AI what a kitchen remodel costs is a little like asking a stranger on the street. They might give you a number, but it won't mean much without knowing your home, your goals, and your wish list.

Obligatory roof selfie this morning!

A lot of times on projects we tend to notice things that are outside of our contracts scope of work. It’s hard for me to sleep at night knowing that those items could either cost a homeowner more money in the future, or lead to a headache trying to find someone to fix it.

We are here to make homes look pretty, and also make sure the place you sleep at night is protected.

While venting out the bathroom exhaust fans (because all homes should have them vented), I noticed some suspect flashing on the roof that was in need of repair, and got it taken care of😊
