Big progress happening out in Pratt, Kansas! 👏

The hunting shop is getting close to the finish line, and right next door, the hunting lodge is officially underway!

There’s something pretty rewarding about watching an entire property come together from the ground up. From the shop nearing completion to seeing the lodge posts go up, this project is really starting to take shape.

We’re excited to keep sharing the progress as our crew brings the next phase of this hunting compound to life. Stay tuned 💁🏻‍♀️

Throwback Tuesday | Towanda, KS

We recently added a drone to the Suburban Buildings lineup, which means we finally get to show off some of our projects from a whole new perspective! 🚁

First up is this awesome compound we’ve been working on in Towanda, Kansas, featuring a custom barndominium and separate shop…with more still to come. 👀

Seeing this property from the air really puts the size and layout into perspective. The black metal, natural wood accents, expansive porches, and matching shop all come together beautifully.

We have a lot of completed and ongoing projects that we can’t wait to revisit, so expect to see more drone photos and videos coming your way!

And as for this Towanda property… stay tuned. We’re not finished yet!

Trying not to ask if we could take everything for a quick test drive. 😂

We recently wrapped up the steel liner installation in this customer’s dream shop, and we’d say it’s officially ready to house everything from classic cruisers to dirt bikes, ATVs, and the boat.

A steel liner doesn’t just look clean, it adds durability, reflects light, and makes the shop easier to maintain for years to come.

It’s all about the prep 🤓

A great paint finish starts long before the first coat goes on. For this custom home, our customer chose a beautiful stained maple finish, which means every detail matters.

Every floor, cabinet, door, and finished surface is carefully protected before a brush ever touches the wood. We also take the time to address drywall imperfections so the final paint finish looks as smooth and clean as possible.

It’s the little things that often go unnoticed, but they’re what separate an average finish from one we’re proud to put our name on.

🚨 New Hire Alert 🚨

Well… we weren’t planning on expanding the crew today, but this applicant just wandered onto the job site. 🐐😂

He showed up without a résumé, skipped orientation, ignored the dress code, and immediately started inspecting everyone’s work. His biggest qualification? He’ll eat almost anything.

We’re still debating whether to put him on quality control, cleanup, or customer relations. 🤷‍♂️

☀️ From the outside, most post-frame buildings look the same… until you decide to finish the inside ☀️

Our crew is making great progress on this Stockade Flush Frame 42’ x 60’ x 16’ pool hangout building, and it’s the perfect opportunity to explain one of the biggest differences in how we build.

Before we ever start construction, we ask every customer one important question:

“Do you plan to finish the interior now or sometime in the future?”

That answer helps us recommend the right framing system from the very beginning.

Our Flush Frame design is engineered with a finished interior in mind. When it’s time to insulate and hang drywall, the walls are already set up for it! This saves time, labor, and unnecessary materials down the road.

Many traditional post-frame buildings require additional framing later just to create flat interior walls. That often means paying for extra lumber, labor, and essentially building another wall inside the one you already purchased.

We believe in helping customers make the right investment the first time. Even if you’re not finishing the interior today, planning ahead can save thousands in future remodeling costs.

Happy Friday

Who’s ready for a match? ☀️

Our crew braved the heat and somehow managed to dodge the random Kansas thunderstorm just long enough to get this pickleball court extension poured. 🌩️➡️☀️

It’s another project in the books, and we’re pretty sure the weather was just testing us. 😅

Here’s to smooth concrete, blue skies, and a court that’s ready for plenty of rallies. Have a great weekend, everyone!
