Make sure ceiling fans are running in the clockwise rotation during the air conditioning season to help lift and mix the cold air from the floors. Your fans should have a switch that will change the rotation from heating to cooling season. Counterclockwise rotation pushes air downward which is beneficial during heating season to push warm air back down from the ceiling.
