The customer had a very short (about two feet) and slippery ramp built to get into his shed. He requested that Tuxedo Home Maintenance design and build a safer ramp solution. We suggested a ramp at least 6-8 feet in length, with a very gradual and safe angle that would allow lawn equipment to be easily pulled and pushed along it's length without fearing sliding off the ramp. As you can tell from the solution, the ramp is long, stout and very safe to walk on without the concern of sliding off! (The Customer will be taking care of the approach at the front of the new ramp!) The Customer expressed their pleasure at the result and requested quotes for a few more projects around the house!

A customer in the Centerville neighborhood had an old attic vent fan that decided to give up the ghost. The customer has a new roof and a ridge vent - he's aware running the old vent fan is overkill, but he likes the knowledge that he has the fan up there, as well. Fair enough, so Tuxedo Home Maintenance performed the replacement by carefully pulling the old one and installed a new 1500cfm unit that is capable of moving more air than the old one, when it worked! The install is buttoned-up water-tight and ready for 30 more years of service!

A regular customer of mine had a cabinet that has been heavily loaded with fine china for nearly 30 years. Not surprisingly, the bottom shelf was bulging out the bottom of the cabinet and had nearly dropped everything onto the countertop! Tuxedo Home Maintenance saved the existing shelf since it matched the cabinet, but then we built a new support structure under the shelf to add rigidity and to keep the shelf perfectly straight for the next 30 years!

A customer in Townville has a dog that happened to use some window trim as a chew toy. Tuxedo Home Maintenance did some touching-up to save the existing woodwork without replacing all of the window trim. This type of project is a relatively common project that we help customers with!

A customer in Anderson's Concord neighborhood had a long and narrow bathroom painted a dark blue. She had been putting it off for years and she finally decided to move forward and have it painted a lighter color. Tuxedo Home Maintenance came in and repainted it her preferred color of Antique White, which certainly makes the room feel bigger and more inviting!
