What a job! Metal roofs present their own problems and heat cable needs to be protected by a reliable snow retention system. This was a mega project but we are more than confident that Zack and his family will forget ice dams ever existed! The Weaver clan has had years of problems with this roof on their beautiful Hillside home. Initially, they just wanted part of the roof covered, but ultimately they decided they wanted the entire thing covered. We don’t typically recommend this amount of heat cable for roofs, but they wanted to ensure they never had an ice dam or roof leak again. Heck, they won’t even have snow on that roof now! Another great job in the books. Thanks for trusting Alaska Heat Tape!

Frost adorned the roofs the last two days in Anchorage. Winter is coming fast! Dave got set up with 300-feet today and we’re heading back to install the rest of his roof with Drexan self-regulating heat cable in a few days!
