A little home faucet refresh✨

We recently had the pleasure of taking care of our BNI buddy, Michael Feeley 3 Stage Auto Collision with four new Kohler Sundae widespread faucets in brushed nickel through the home.

Each faucet installation included a new pop up assembly and supply line. While we were at it, we also replaced 11 emergency shutoff valves serving the new faucets, kitchen sinks, as well as the toilets upstairs.

Those little valves under your fixtures may not get much attention, but they matter. They allow the water to an individual fixture to be shut off quickly when maintenance or a leak comes up, without shutting down the water to your entire home.

A fresh look above the sink with dependable plumbing underneath🔧💚✨

🔧A Few Small Upgrades

Our client originally called about for a toilet that was giving her a bit of trouble when flushing… While we were there, we took a peek at the garbage disposal, and what started as one little plumbing concern turned into a few worthwhile upgrades around the home.🏡✨

In the downstairs bathroom, we installed a new quarter turn angle stop, escutcheon, brass shank fill valve and supply line, along with a customer provided flapper 😤

Then, over at the kitchen sink, we installed a new 3/4 HP garbage disposal, complete with stainless steel grind components, a three stage grind chamber, along with SoundSeal technology for quieter operation.

The little things matter 💡

A finicky toilet and an aging supply line might not seem particularly urgent, but those smaller components play a big part in keeping your plumbing reliable, preventing leaks and bigger repairs down the road.

Sometimes a service call starts with something as simple as a jiggly toilet handle. We’re happy to take a look at the rest while we’re there 🫡🔧💚

Tree Roots vs. Sewer line 🌳🪾

This Orange County sewer repair gave us a pretty clear look at root intrusion inside an older clay sewer pipe.

Roots can work their way into vulnerable joints or damaged areas of a sewer line, then continue growing inside the pipe, which eventually restricts flow and contributes to recurring backups.

After locating and exposing the affected section, it was removed and then transitioned to new ABS using proper shielded couplings.

A good reminder of why sewer camera inspections can be so valuable when drain problems keep coming back.

And!! On a very grateful note, Plumb Guild is officially booked through September!🤧🗓️💚 Thank you to every homeowner and returning client keeping our little Guild busy. We appreciate you more than you know!!
