ALERT - the "Outlet Challenge" is now trending on social media. It involves inserting metal (such as a coin) into the gap between the face of a plug (usually a phone charger) and the face of a receptacle. When the coin makes contact with the partially inserted plug blades, dangerous electrical arcing occurs. This unsafe activity is a misuse of a receptacle that can result in death, personal injury or electrical fires. Electrical safety is our priority. Please be certain receptacles are used only for their intended purpose, refrain from this dangerous activity, and warn others not to participate in the “challenge” as well. http://bit.ly/outlet-challenge
