☀️ Solar savings that keep adding up!

Marv & Kathy Somers went solar with Northwind Solar in 2020, installing a 5.85 kW rooftop system at their Stevens Point home.

More than six years later, Marv recently shared just how low their electric bills have been:
“Went solar a few years ago. One bill 30 cents, next one minus 68 cents, next one minus $2.68, last one $7.33. I am happy.”

Their 18-panel system was designed to generate approximately 6,536 kWh of clean energy each year and offset about 73% of the home’s historical annual electricity use.

We love hearing from customers years after installation and seeing their solar investment continue to deliver.

Solar with battery storage does two jobs. Day to day it cuts what you buy from the utility. When a storm takes the lines down, it keeps your lights, your well pump, your furnace and your freezer running.
