Another Wautoma home is running on sunshine! ☀️🔋

Congratulations to Steve on his new 5.28 kW grid-tied solar system with FranklinWH Energy Storage Inc. battery backup, designed to produce an estimated 6,679 kWh in the first year and offset more than 135% of his current energy use!!!

Due to the high winds, the grid went down today at our headquarters in Amherst, WI.

Inside Northwind Solar, we only noticed a quick flicker of the lights, and then everything stayed on.

It wasn't until a neighboring business called to ask if we still had power that we even noticed the grid was down.

Here’s a snapshot from our Powerhub monitoring app showing our system in action: while the grid was down, our solar kept producing, our batteries continued charging, and we maintained uninterrupted power at our shop and headquarters.

That’s the value of pairing solar with battery storage.

Solar is great. Solar + storage is next-level energy resiliency.
