🛹 Giving back to the Amesbury community!🛹

Did you know the 10-foot fencing around the Amesbury Skate Park was originally installed by Atlantic Coast Fence back around 1975? Back then, it was actually built for the town's tennis courts. 🎾➡️🛹

Today, we donated our time and some materials to temporarily repair the skate park fencing to help keep it safe and usable for future generations.

A great part of this project was having the 5th generation of the Triandafilou family out on site, helping repair the exact same fence his grandfather installed nearly 50 years ago. Alex is even rockin' his 1980's Atlantic Coast Fence T-Shirt.

We enjoy supporting the local community with various donations throughout the years, and we’re glad to help keep the skate park rolling.

On a side note: Dick Nelson, Sr, one of our longtime foreman, pointed out that he was involved with the original installation of this fence 50 years ago.

Build to Last: Built and installed in 1983. 43 years later, still standing strong in 2026. 🔨

When Atlantic Coast Fence owner, Ted Jr and his son, Ted III installed this fence back in 1983, It was built with one standard in mind: do it right so it stands the test of time.

Here it is captured in 2004 (over 21 years in), and again today in 2026—over 43 years later, standing as solid as the day the posts went into the ground.

To put that into perspective: this single fence has been standing longer than most fence companies have even been in business.

A lot of contractors come and go, but when we say our fences literally outlive the competition, we mean it. True craftsmanship, quality materials, and proper installation don’t just look great on day one—they protect your investment for decades.

And best of all? Decades down the road, you can still pick up the phone—or stop by the office—and reach the very same family-owned company that built it. In fact, you can still come by our office today and meet the same guys who installed this fence back in '83; we're still right here doing what we love.

The Role:
Lead or work as part of a 2–4 person crew installing all fence types (Vinyl, Wood, Chain Link, Ornamental).

Read layouts, mark utility lines, and operate equipment (Augers, Skid Steers, etc.).

Ensure top-tier quality and leave job sites clean.

Today is a proud milestone for our family and our company! 🛠️ We are thrilled to announce the start of the 5th generation of the Triandafilou family to enter the fence business.

Atlantic Coast Fence officially welcomes Alex Triandafilou to the team! Our family's roots in this industry date all the way back to before WWII in 1940. Alex is proudly following in the footsteps of his father, Ted III; grandfather, Ted Jr.; great-grandfather, Ted Sr.; and great-great-grandfather, Nick.
