The next milestone at Woodward Lofts is complete: the foundation pour. One step closer to bringing 48 affordable senior housing units (62+) to the Allison Hill community in Harrisburg, PA. We’re excited to see construction moving forward on this innovative project, which will become PHFA’s first Mass Timber Tax Credit development in Pennsylvania.

KMA had a wonderful evening attending the 2026 PACDC Gala & Awards Ceremony at The Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, celebrating the incredible accomplishments of community leaders and organizations. Martina led another “Detail University” session yesterday. This time, the team explored a building wall section for an affordable housing project in Harrisburg, PA. We broke into groups to discuss and sketch how we would approach the design, working through how the footing, slab-on-grade foundation, exterior wall, insulation, waterproofing, and interior finishes all connect. It was a great hands-on learning session and a collaborative way to better understand how thoughtful detailing supports building performance and constructability.

A vision brought to life through thoughtful design. ✂️ The ribbon cutting at Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center marks the completion of a space where architecture and interiors work in harmony to support healing, dignity, and care. From the building’s welcoming, residential-scaled presence to carefully curated interior environments, every detail fosters a sense of safety and comfort for children and families. Specialized spaces, including a mock courtroom and dedicated training areas, support collaboration among advocates, medical professionals, and law enforcement. We are proud to see this meaningful project come to life.
