Snow days can triple.

That's not hype. The National Weather Service in Amarillo found that during a strong El Niño, the number of days with measurable snow here is roughly three times normal. NOAA says a very strong one is building now.

Here's the part people forget: roof work waits for a dry roof. Once the snow and ice set in, chimney repairs wait for a break in the weather, and so do you. Crowns, flashing, caps, mortar: book them now, while the roofs are dry.

A super El Niño is building.

NOAA's Climate Prediction Center gives better than 90% odds of a very strong one this winter. The National Weather Service in Amarillo says El Niño winters here run wetter, snowier and colder, and that days with measurable snow can roughly triple.

Get the chimney swept and inspected before the first storm. Call or text 806-358-0817.

The chimney swifts have headed south for the winter, and that opens a window.

Chimney swifts are a protected migratory bird, so an active nest can't be disturbed. Once they've left, the flue can be cleaned out and a cap put on top. The cap keeps raccoons, squirrels and next year's nests out, and it keeps rain and snow out too. With a wet winter in the forecast, that matters.

Call or text 806-358-0817 and we'll get you on the schedule.

A super El Niño is building — and the Panhandle is right in its path.

NOAA's Climate Prediction Center now gives better than 90% odds of a very strong El Niño this winter, possibly the strongest on record. For Amarillo, the National Weather Service says El Niño winters tend to run wetter, snowier and colder than normal.

Wetter and colder means more fires, more moisture on the roof, and more freeze-thaw on every brick. The time to get the chimney swept, inspected and capped is before the first storm, not after.

Voted best, twice.

KFDA NewsChannel 10 viewers named us Best Chimney Sweep/Repair in 2023 — and again in 2026. Between those two votes: thousands of sweeps, camera scans, crowns, and dryer vents across the Panhandle.

We work like people are watching, because they are.

Third visit, same result.

Bill's had us out three times now — and this time the job was bigger than a routine sweep. His chimney crown needed replacing. Joseph handled it in a short amount of time, same as always.

That's really the whole pitch: come back because the work holds up, not because we chase you down for a review.

Out of town? We come to you.

Canyon, Claude, Borger, Pampa, Dumas, Hereford — outlying towns run on batched route days, which keeps the cost of an out-of-town visit down. Know a neighbor who needs theirs done? Tell them — sharing the run is the cheapest way for everyone.
