Another sneak peak at a pool we are wrapping up. This time it’s not in a backyard but at Homewood Suites in Coppell. This is a one of a kind for sure with both a heater and chiller installed to keep this pool accessible year around.

Replaced the coping with a cleaner more modern stone, replaced tile, removed old plaster that was painted and started to come off with French Grey mini pebble, and new mastic. Added spotter tiles to steps in benches to give it that little extra 🤌🏼

This pool had more going on than what you could see at first glance.

• Decking was settling and starting to fail
• Coping was outdated and breaking down
• A structural crack had been covered up…not repaired
• Plaster failed again because the real issue was never addressed

So we did it the right way:

We lifted and stabilized the decking so it’s solid again.
Replaced the old coping with clean, modern natural stone.
Properly repaired the shell crack…not just covered it.
Then finished it out so it not only looks right… it lasts.

Here’s the truth most people don’t hear:

Not all pool builders are qualified to do renovations.

A renovation isn’t just cosmetic. It’s structural, technical, and if done wrong… you end up paying for it twice.

Choosing a builder that is certified, educated, and experienced means:
✔ Problems get fixed at the source
✔ Materials are installed the right way
✔ You’re not redoing the same repair in a year

Our schedule is filling fast, and while there’s still time to be swimming this summer, that window is closing.

🌟WOW🌟

Tile & coping are going in and this pool is starting to speak for itself.

The 1x2 glass tile with tan travertine is a perfect match (you had me at the clean lines and mitered corner) the homeowners picked the combo and absolutely nailed it. Next up is a two-tier fountain wall finished with ledger stone to tie it all together with the 1x1 glas tile along th edge of the steps and benches.

Still under construction so ignore the haziness, but this one’s going to shine like a DIAMOND when it’s done. More photos soon.
