When it comes to portable generators, arguably the most important maintenance step is this little bottle of fuel stabilizer. Generators tend to sit for long periods without running and the fuel can gum up the lines and carb. This will keep your fuel from doing that so that the next time you pull that rope you have no issues. Certaintly don’t want to find out what you didn’t do in the middle of a snowstorm with the power out.

Got a call to put a cord and plug on a cattle chute, but had no way to ensure motor rotation was correct since there was no nearby electricity. I could’ve guessed, but this particular chute is headed to Texas. That’s quite a drive if I didn’t get it right the first time.
Decided to drag out the generator to make certain! It’s also nice to know that the generator will start with Winter right around the corner.

Quick lighting job we got to do today. These fixtures are 80W each and 8’ long providing bright, soft light for this workshop. These fixtures are diffused in a way that you can look up at them without being blinded like traditional LED shop lights, while still providing solid shadow free light.
