It has been a busy summer at NSS. We have been working on several projects at schools that needed to be finished before school started. Here are a few pictures of what we have been working on.

May 15-June 15th is Tourette Awareness month. Over 1.4 million people in the U.S. have Tourette with an estimated 1 out of 162 children being diagnosed. Tourette Syndrome is a tic disorder in which people have physical movements (motor) and make sounds or say words repeatedly and uncontrollably. There is currently no cure for Tourette Syndrome.

NSS Exteriors was a proud sponser of the 2nd Annual Trot the Fox walk and 5k benefiting the Tourette Association of America organized by Plumtree Psychology in St. Charles, Illinois.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to attend the CooperatorEvents Chicagoland Expo and share what we do with HOA's, Condo Associations and Property Managers from the area. Always a great day when we can share our love of skylights!

We had the great pleasure to build and install a custom historical replica skylight for a customer. The existing skylight was damaged and deteriorating and in desperate need to be replaced. The owner liked the style and wanted to preserve the look. We were able to recreate the unit and restore the light into the unit. Just another service that NSS provides that makes us different than the rest.

Exciting week at NSS Exteriors! Our new autobrake has arrived. Our fabricators are looking forward to making beautiful architectural sheet metal products once it is finished getting wired in.

We recently spent two days exhibiting at the CRCA - Chicago Roofing Contractors Association Trade Show. We spent two days meeting and networking with roofers and roofing contractors at Drury Lane. Paul, Brad, Ashlee and Kristine took shifts and worked our booth. It was a great experience! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and visited our booth.
