Landscape By Design is a design/build landscape company. We have trained landscape designers as well as a crew of landscape craftsmen. Landscape crew members will be involved in landscape construction of high-end residential homes. This may include trenching, grading, irrigation installation and repair, planting, low-voltage lighting installation, sod installation, operation of skidsteer and/or mini-excavator, and other tasks involved in landscape construction.

Landscape By Design is growing quickly and offers the opportunity to grow with the company. Work is full-time and consistent through 10-12 months of the year. Employees have the option to 'bank' worked hours to use as Paid Time Off for vacations or through the winter. Most employees who work a full summer have banked enough hours to receive steady paychecks through the winter even during slow months.

We are committed to creating a great work environment for our employees. We take the entire company out to lunch for each employees birthday, give generous raises each year, and provide employees with shirts, hats, and jackets. We want employees to build a career at Landscape by Design and we offer the tools necessary to help you learn and grow into foremen, project managers, and designers.

Employees are expected to work 8-9 hrs./day, Mon-Fri. from 7 AM to between 5 PM & 6 PM. You are expected to provide your own transportation to the job site which will normally be in Highland or Alpine. You will be expected to work according to your capabilities and to learn on the job and will have opportunities to learn about construction sequence and management, client relations, heavy machinery operation and more.

Applicants must be at least 18 yrs. old, physically capable of working outdoors for 8-9 hrs. a day and have a strong work ethic. We are willing to teach the skills of the trade to hard-workers with high integrity, but prefer applicants with experience and/or interest in construction or a similar field including landscape design. Proficiency in Spanish as well as English is a plus.
