Construction in Utah is booming!

A woman once called a contractor and explained that she had a terrible squeak in her floor and simply couldn't live with it any longer. Could he please come fix it for her?

He arrived shortly thereafter, walked over to the area that was squeaking, and then promptly pulled a hammer and nail from his tool bag to fix the floor. After driving the nail into just the right spot he asked the woman to inspect his work. "It's perfect" she explained, "I am so relieved!"

He replied "I'm glad you're happy, that will be $45."

"$45 dollars!" she shouted. "How on earth can you justify $45 for less than 5 minutes worth of work, that's highway robbery!"

"I certainly understand ma'am, but the nail cost $.50, it was $1.50 for use of the hammer and..."

"and what about the other $43.00?"she interjected.

"We'll ma'am, that's for knowing how to use the hammer and knowing where to put the nail."

Moral of the story- Don't ever underestimate the value of someone's experience. It probably didn't come cheap and is most likely worth every penny you have to pay to benefit from it.
