Ever wonder what your hot tub is actually thinking? 🤔

“Feed me chemicals… clean my filter… stop ignoring that weird noise…”

Most hot tubs don’t fail overnight — they slowly suffer from:
• Dirty filters 😬
• Bad water chemistry 🧪
• Biofilm (aka the invisible swamp monster) 🦠
• And the classic: “It worked fine last time we used it…”

Here’s the truth 👇
A properly maintained hot tub =
✔️ Clear water
✔️ Safe soaking
✔️ Longer equipment life
✔️ Fewer expensive repairs

A neglected hot tub =
💸💸💸

If your spa water isn’t crystal clear, smells funky, won’t heat, or is throwing error codes… it’s probably trying to tell you something.

We keep hot tubs clean, hot, and ready — so all you have to do is relax.

Not replacing filters in a hot tub, even if it hasn’t been used for six months, can lead to several issues:

1. Bacterial and Mold Growth: Even without use, moisture can still be present in the tub and filter system. This creates an environment where bacteria, mold, and algae can thrive, potentially contaminating the water when the tub is eventually used.
2. Clogged Filters: Over time, filters can accumulate dust, dirt, and small particles from the air and any residual water left in the system. This can cause the filter to become clogged, reducing water circulation when the tub is in use, putting strain on the pump and heating elements.
3. Damage to Pump and Heater: A clogged or dirty filter forces the pump to work harder to circulate water, which can lead to premature wear and tear, overheating, or even failure of the pump or heater.
4. Chemical Imbalance: Filters help keep the water balanced by removing debris and particles. If the filter is old and dirty, it won’t function properly, leading to chemical imbalances that can damage components or make the water unsafe to use.
5. Bad Odors: A filter left in place for too long without cleaning or replacement can develop a musty or foul odor, which may carry into the hot tub when it’s eventually used.
6. Costly Repairs: Failing to replace the filter could lead to more expensive repairs, like replacing the pump or heater, which might fail due to strain from a dirty filter.

It’s good practice to maintain regular filter changes, even during periods of disuse, to avoid these risks.

Deleting gate valves on a tub to bring it back to life. These gate valves fail constantly. We don’t even use them…instead we just drain tubs that have them when repairs are required because they fail so often. It’s also common to only see these installed on low quality hot tubs. If you’re in the market for a hot tub and you see these…it’s always a sign you’re buying cheap. Buy cheap, buy twice!
