This entrance has sat untouched since the 2008/2009 downturn. We were told to finish up what we had in progress, not come back the next day, and that the developer would pay us for the work completed to that point. Like many others during that time, the project, and ultimately the developer, never recovered.

Proud that SCG was able to survive one of the toughest periods our industry has ever seen, and that we’ve grown leaps and bounds since then. None of that happens without an incredible team committed to doing things the right way every day. The people behind this company are the reason we’re still here today, and I’m extremely grateful for the loyalty, hard work, and commitment they continue to bring year after year.

Every time I see this entrance, it reminds me how much has changed, how much has stayed the same, and continues to motivate me.
