Commercial sunshades provide more than just curb appeal—they help reduce solar heat gain, glare, and direct sunlight entering the building, creating a more comfortable interior environment. They can also help improve energy efficiency by reducing cooling demands while protecting interior furnishings and finishes from UV exposure.

Before ➡️ After

Recently, W.S. Nielsen Company completed a renovation with J.M. Wilkerson Construction Co., Inc at Trinity Towers, a historic Atlanta landmark. The well-aged and existing system was refreshed with new Fiberglass (FRP) Uni-Grid glazing panels provided by Kingspan Light + Air. This renovation helped rejuvenate the thermal performance of the glazing wall, along with providing a fresh and clean look.

Our goal is to enhance the appearance of buildings as well as improve their performance. Thank you to everyone involved, especially our field team, for their hard work in delivering another successful renovation project. If you have any questions about what we do, please contact us.

Recently, W.S. Nielsen Co. completed a project with Parrish Construction Group, Altman + Barrett Architects, and Kingspan Light + Air, installing Kingspan’s translucent gullwing and monoslope canopy systems at South Atlanta High School. The canopy systems create a bold and welcoming entrance for students, faculty, and visitors while also providing weather protection and natural daylight.
