People ask why we only sell one style in one color.

Because carrying everything means being out of something. Offer forty finishes and you hold a thin layer of each, and there's always one you can't ship this week.

So we hold one thing, deep. White shaker, Snowbound White. It's in the Alpharetta warehouse right now, not being made after you order.

That's the whole reason it ships in 5 business days door-to-door.

One style, one color, real wood, painted inside and out. Shipped nationwide.

Here's who should not buy our cabinets.

If you want three different finishes in one house, we're the wrong supplier. We do white shaker. One style, one color, and that's the whole catalog.

If you're not comfortable putting the cabinets together, and you don't have anyone who is, we're also the wrong supplier. They arrive flat-packed. Someone has to assemble them.

But if you want a beautiful white shaker kitchen and you want to save real money doing it, and you own a screwdriver — we're for you.

I'd rather tell you that now than after a pallet shows up at your curb.

Every door and every drawer in our kitchens is soft close. Not an upgrade, not an option — standard.

The hinges are concealed and six-way adjustable, which matters more than it sounds. Houses settle. Floors aren’t level. Six-way adjustment means a door that drifts out of line in year three can be brought back square in about a minute with a screwdriver.

Drawers run on full-extension undermount slides, so the back of the drawer actually comes out to where you can reach it.

The question we get asked more than any other: what does RTA actually stand for?

Ready to assemble.

Your cabinets ship flat-packed in a box, and you put them together. That's genuinely the trade — you do a bit of work, and you save a serious amount of money. What's in the box doesn't change.

A little about the product itself. We only do one style in one color: white shaker. And unlike most ready-to-assemble cabinets, ours are painted on the inside as well as the outside — most suppliers leave the interior as bare plywood, because it never shows up in a photograph.

Soft close throughout. Plywood box, birch frames.

Before you order any cabinets, get your measurements right.

It's the single most important part of the whole process, and it's the one people rush.

If you're not completely sure what you're doing, pay someone. An installer, a handyman, anyone who measures for a living. It's a small cost against getting it wrong.

Once cabinets ship, sending them back is difficult. Measure twice, cut once.

Send us the measurements and we'll design the kitchen, make the modifications, whatever you need.

How the cabinets actually arrive, since nobody ever explains this part.

Components are individually wrapped and packed in heavy cardboard, then palletized and shrink-wrapped. It ships LTL freight and comes off the truck curbside — so plan for where it's going and have a hand to move it.

Check everything before you start assembling. If something arrived damaged, photograph it and tell us before assembly. That's how the damage policy works, and it's much harder to sort out once a cabinet is built.

RTA means ready to assemble. The cabinets arrive flat-packed, and someone puts them together — you, or whoever is installing your kitchen.

That's the trade. What it buys is that they ship from Alpharetta in 5 business days door-to-door rather than being built after you order.

Every fastener and piece of assembly hardware is in the box. You'll want a drill, a screwdriver and a level. A rubber mallet helps.

If that trade doesn't work for your project, better to know now than after.

The face frames on our cabinets are blind mortise and tenon.

That's a joint people were cutting by hand three hundred years ago. One piece has a slot, the other has a tongue, and they lock together. No screws holding the frame square — the geometry does it.

Solid birch, three quarter inch thick.

It's completely invisible once the cabinet is built, which is exactly why it's worth asking about.

Open one of our cabinets and the inside is the same white as the outside.

Snowbound White, all the way through. Doors, drawers, boxes. Three coats — primer, base, and a protective top coat, Sherwin-Williams paint.

In ready-to-assemble cabinets that's rare. Interiors are usually left as bare plywood, because nobody sees them in a showroom photo.

You see them every day though. Every time you reach for a plate.

We start our kitchens at $4,995, and I'd rather tell you exactly what that buys than leave the number sitting there on its own.

Soft close on every door and every drawer. Full extension drawers, so the back of the drawer actually comes out to where you can reach it. Dovetail construction. And the interiors painted the same Snowbound White as the outside — doors, drawers, boxes. That last one is unusual in RTA, because the inside of a cabinet never shows up in a photograph.

What you give up is choice. One style, one color, white shaker. If you want three finishes in one kitchen, we're the wrong supplier and I'd rather say that now.

Holding one product deep is what keeps it sitting in the warehouse here in Alpharetta instead of being built after you order. That's why it ships nationwide in 5 business days door-to-door.

If you're replacing your cabinets and white shaker is what you want, give us a call.
