Alright so its hard to see the vision when the house is this far gone but im going to try to walk everyone through it with us as we progress. This is our first property that we have purchased to rehabilitate, and make into something somebody can call home and be proud of. We have installed a new driveway got the exterior pressure washed and a lot of the falling down
Plaster and everything removed from the inside. The 7 layers of carpet is gone as well.
From when we first walked in, this place was a disaster. It has come a long way and a short period of time. We will soon be doing a little more demo and replacing the back section. We still have a long way to go on this project, but we are very excited and have a vision in mind. So you will have to stay tuned. And see how everything progresses. We are going to try and go for the look of an old craftsman style interior mixed with a farmhouse.
We had the opportunity to meet with a young lady that grew up in this house in the forties. We got to hear a lot of the stories on them playing in the same yard that my kids were Running around in. It's these little things that are so exciting.
