Servanthood is one of the most overlooked qualities in business today.
A lot of companies focus on sales, numbers, growth, and recognition… but the strongest businesses are built by people willing to serve first. At In The Light Roofing, we believe leadership is not about being above people. It’s about being willing to show up for them.
Servanthood means answering the phone when someone’s stressed about a leak over their child’s bedroom.
It means taking the extra time to explain the process so homeowners feel comfortable and informed.
It means doing the small things with excellence, even when no one sees it.
Real servanthood is not weakness. It’s discipline. It’s humility. It’s consistency. It’s choosing integrity when shortcuts would be easier.
Whether it’s our office staff helping guide customers through questions, our project managers communicating every step, or our crews working long days in the heat, the goal stays the same: serve people well.
Because roofing is more than shingles and nails. It’s protecting homes, families, memories, and peace of mind.
We believe the best businesses are built by people who care deeply, work hard, stay humble, and lead through service. That culture matters to us.
“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.”
Matthew 20:26
That’s the standard we strive for every day at In The Light Roofing. 🏠✨
