Labor Day is for the people who show up early, work through the heat, and get the job done right, no matter what it is.

Our crew has been doing that kind of work in Southwest Michigan since 1968. Today we're taking a step back to say thanks, not just to our own team, but to everyone in the trades who keeps this area running.

From all of us at Wray's, have a great Labor Day!

A tank giving out from old age isn't rare. What happens next is what matters! One of our customers put in a service request online after their septic tank collapsed. By 8am the next morning, we called to take a look. They had a quote within the hour and were scheduled in less than a week.

Our crew showed up first thing and swapped the tank out fast, so they weren't without facilities for long. That's our favorite part of the job. Show up, figure out what's needed, and get it handled without turning it into a bigger disruption than it has to be!

Thank you to this customer for the kind words and for trusting Wray's with the job! Septic issues don't wait for a convenient time.

It’s more than some pipes in the ground. This is a behind-the-scenes look at an alternative ATL drain bed on a recent septic job.

An ATL drain bed is one option that can help reduce sizing and isolation requirements, depending on the property and system needs. That matters because every site is different. Soil, grade, available space, and local requirements all play a role in how a septic system gets designed and installed.

Wray’s handles this work from start to finish. We know the dirt, we know the local requirements, and we’ve been doing septic work in Southwest Michigan since 1968. When this part gets covered up, you want to know it was done right!

Not sure when your septic tank was last pumped? That’s your sign to call! Most septic tanks need to be pumped every few years, depending on the tank's size and how often the system is used.

Waiting too long can put extra strain on the system and turn a simple maintenance job into a bigger problem. The good news? You don’t have to guess your way through it.

If you’re not sure when it was last done, call Wray’s. We’ll help you figure out what you need and get you scheduled!

This is what “we’ll get it handled” looks like before the trucks leave the yard. The crew gets together, talks through the day, and figures out what needs to happen before the machines fire up.

Some days it’s septic installs. Some days it’s pumping. Some days it’s hauling, excavation, or site work. Either way, the work starts right here!

Pools don’t typically dig themselves, and while summer is starting to wrap up, it's never too early to start planning for next year!

If you’re thinking about a pool for next summer, the planning starts before the weather gets hot. Before the water goes in, before the patio gets finished, and before anyone is floating around with a cold drink, the site has to be dug, prepped, and ready to go!

That’s where Wray’s comes in! 🏊 Pool projects take planning, equipment, and the right crew to get the hole right from the start. And even though summer is winding down, it’s never too early to start thinking ahead for next year.

Need excavation or site prep for a pool project? Call Wray’s and let’s get it moving.

Quick question... Did you know Wray’s does driveway prep, too?

Most people know us for septic work, but we also handle the dirt work that gets a site ready for what comes next. For driveway prep, that means shaping the area, leveling things out, and getting the ground ready before the finished surface goes in.

It may not look like much at first, but good prep makes a difference. If the ground is not right, the driveway will show it later.

Need driveway prep, site work, hauling, or excavation? Call Wray’s and let’s get the dirt moving!

A little maintenance beats a big mess every time! Your septic system does a lot of work behind the scenes. When it is taken care of, you usually do not have to think about it. When it is ignored, problems start to show up pretty soon after.

Routine septic maintenance helps keep your tank, lines, and drain field working as they need to be. It can also help you avoid costly repairs down the road. So, if you cannot remember the last time your tank was pumped, it is time to call Wray’s!
