Wednesday, our students were at the whiteboard grinding through construction math—learning formulas, plugging in numbers, and repeating until it clicked.

​They didn't realize it then, but they were prepping for what came next.

​Last night we went to Sims School of Construction's Workshop, and that whiteboard math turned into real-world action:

​How much material do we need for this wall?
​What are the exact cut measurements?
​Which tools do we need, and can we run them safely?

​They nailed the answers and got straight to work. Because doing the work is what makes the numbers actually MEAN something. It connects classroom theory directly to the job site.
​Even when a mistake happens, it turns into a teaching moment. Mr. Brian steps in to show them how to troubleshoot and fix it on the fly—building the kind of problem-solving confidence you just can’t teach on paper.

We didn’t come this far just to come this far. 💪🏽

We’re back at it and cranked the intensity all the way up. Today, the class made a collective choice to complete extra work so we can accelerate into the hands-on phase even faster. In just two hours, we took framing theory and ex*****on off the page and put it straight into calculated action.

No shortcuts. Heavy focus. Next level unlocked. 🔥🔨
