Yesterday was so packed for our campers that it takes two posts to cover it all!

Our first stop was in Oakland, PA to visit Mrs. Adrienne at the UPMC Kamin site. This visit was particularly special as it marks our final tour before the project's official completion. Having visited during the early phases, seeing the initial visual mockups brought to life in the finished building was incredible.

Each site visit taught our students something new about the construction process and expanded their horizons. The state-of-the-art technology and attention to detail throughout this facility are truly inspiring.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to meet and learn from so many professionals across different trades. A special thank you to Adrienne for her dedication to this project, her commitment to empowering minority contractors, and her passion for opening doors for the next generation. Her impact is undeniable!

​ABSOLUTELY! A little rain didn't slow us down—we just moved the work inside!

We shifted inside, set up 3 tables at a time, and kept the momentum going with stain and sealer applications. Adapt, overcome, and keep building! 💪🏽🔨Rain or shine, the work gets done! 💪🛠️
