A milestone worth celebrating in Houston, Texas!

Last week, our project team came together for a stair dedication celebration in Refined Technologies’ future space.

Before the final finishes are installed, team members signed the monumental stairs, leaving their mark on a defining feature of the space they helped bring to life.

It was a great time to pause, celebrate progress, and recognize the people and partnerships behind the project!

Meet Jalyn! 👋

For Jalyn, this summer was all about expanding her perspective.

As a Civil Engineering student at Old Dominion University, she came into her internship with experience in base building construction. This summer, she was excited to explore a new side of the industry and dive into the fast-paced world of interior construction.

Her favorite part of the internship?

Learning from experienced superintendents who have shown her not only how to navigate challenges on the job, but also how curiosity, attention to detail, and maintaining a healthy balance outside of work can make you a stronger leader.

We're so glad Jalyn was part of our team this summer and look forward to seeing where her journey takes her!

Meet Lawton! 👋

Lawton, a Civil Engineering student at Georgia Tech, spent his summer with our Atlanta team and gained firsthand insight into what makes a great construction team.

What stood out to him most? The culture.

Check out our full-floor renovation for a wealth management client in downtown Houston.

Through detailed planning and strong preconstruction coordination, our Houston team delivered this design-forward space within the client's tight timeline, elevating their workplace into a polished, modern environment built for both business and connection.

The centerpiece is a client-facing conference center anchored by a freestanding millwork feature wall. A sleek, dual-glazed demountable wall system offers both privacy and flexibility for evolving needs.

The back of house includes private offices, purpose-built open seating areas, and an inviting breakroom designed for relaxation and fun, complete with a convertible meeting table that doubles as a ping pong table.
