Before, during, & after of an INSANE submerged rooted bog project. This client had the worst lake floor we have ever seen on one of the nicest lots in the state. Between thick bog, cattail stumps, and a copious amount of carpet w**d, this entire area was unusable…until we came along. This 1.25 day project significantly enhanced property value, aesthetics, and recreational use of the affected area. We overturned roughly 60 years of UNDERWATER bog accumulation. To say the client was happy is an understatement. They have a brand new lake floor that hasn’t been seen in decades!

I want to begin this post by saying THANK YOU.

Thank you to every homeowner who trusted us with your beautiful property; the boaters who waved as we worked; the gas station employees who cleaned up our muddy boot tracks; our DNR and OSHA reps; Timothy & Mischka Martin; Jeff Bosek; Terry Nooner; Tony Scalze; John Kleis; Tyler Smith; Janna & Caleb Kimmes-Meyer; Jay Boatman; Rob & Kati Nicholson; the Tappella family; Amy Berry; our friends; our FOLLOWERS; and, last but certainly not least, our crews—past and present.

Thank you all for helping make one of my dreams come true. The support we’ve received from the Alexandria and Central Minnesota community has meant more than words could EVER express. Together, we’ve achieved incredible milestones in just four summers, but it has become too much...

Effective July 25, 2026, we will no longer accept new Minnesota-based accounts for the remainder of summer. Our operations in the Alexandria area and Twin Cities will conclude on August 14. However, we will continue offering free weekend site assessments through October for folks planning ahead to May 2027.

This decision was not made lightly. The lifestyle we’ve been living as a company to sustain our current workload simply isn’t healthy for any Holy Diver. We’re choosing to step away while we’re ahead. This isn’t a goodbye but rather a “see you later.”

We plan to return in April 2027, potentially with a retail storefront as we explore capital investment opportunities in exchange for an equity stake in Holy Divers LLC.

For the remainder of the summer, I am heading to Okoboji to build the same kind of business I built in Alexandria (just with a little less chaos and more actual SCUBA diving). No more working seven days a week. No more repeated 16-hour days. From here on, work-life balance—not growth—is the priority. Consider this a working vacation of sorts, an opportunity to recharge while laying the foundation for something fun and new.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for believing in the Holy Divers mission and supporting us every step of the way. We will continue to help change the world one lake at a time.
