Your crockpot is a cauldron, babe.š„
One of my favorite things about witchcraft is that literally anything can become magic when we approach it with intention.
And yes, that includes making a big olā pot of stew.
Plus itās a low spoons way to get some magic in!
Somewhere along the way, weāve convinced ourselves that magic has to be this elaborate production. That we need a perfectly arranged altar, a dozen crystals, a specific moon phase, and three uninterrupted hours to make something magical happen.
But witches have been weaving magic into their everyday lives for centuries.
Into their cooking. Their cleaning. Their gardening. Their mending. Their homes.
The everyday and the magical were never meant to be separate.
So when Iām throwing ingredients into my crockpot, Iām not just making dinner.
Iām practicing a little kitchen witchery.
š„ Carrots for prosperity, growth, and abundance.
š„ Garlic for protection and clearing unwanted energy.
š„ Onions for protection and releasing what no longer serves.
š„ Rosemary for remembrance, protection, and purification.
š„ Salt for cleansing, grounding, and protection.
And as everything comes together, I can set an intention for the meal. Maybe itās nourishment. Maybe itās peace in my home. Maybe itās abundance, comfort, or simply having enough energy to get through another day.
I donāt need to stand over a bubbling cauldron chanting for hours. Sometimes I just toss everything in, give it a stir, whisper an intention, and let the crockpot do its thing.
Because magic should fit into your life. You shouldnāt have to rearrange your entire life to practice magic.
Your morning coffee can be a spell. Your shower can be a cleansing ritual. Sweeping your floors can become energetic clearing. And your crockpot? Well, thatās just a modern-day cauldron.
You donāt have to do MORE to be a witch.
Sometimes you just have to recognize the magic in what youāre already doing.
Now tell me, my fellow kitchen witches: whatās your favorite meal to make with a little extra magic? š¤
