While the garden is sleeping, there seems to be some plants that are remaining a little evergreen. This is geum mai tai. I just got it this year so I wonder if it stays green all winter like hellebores? I guess we'll find out in the spring!

I was asked to make bridesmaid's bouquets and boutonnieres for my niece's wedding in September. I was so nervous and excited to do them! I thought they turned out beautiful!! I also made an arrangement for the memorial table.

This small bathroom is serving as a temporary cooler for my flowers. While it doesn't get super cold in there, it stayed cool enough last year to help hold flowers while they hydrate and get ready for bouquets.

Happy summer! We're being welcomed by HOT weather. Ugh! I've been absent since last fall but have been actively working for 2025. My first flower, an anemone, came in late May and then they all started blowing open when I was gone on vacation the first week of June. The heat is being pretty rough to the petals so I haven't been able to pick any for bouquets. If we can get past the next couple days when it cools down hopefully the new stems will look better and I may have a few bouquets available. All my peonies decided to blow open while we were on vacation, as well. So, note to self, don't go on vacation the first week of June. 😉 This year it's looking like most of my bouquets will be summer and fall bouquets. Keep following and I'll share when they're available. Every year is a learning year!
