Two Albuquerque icons. One remarkable century. ✨

In 2026, Hotel Parq Central celebrates 100 years alongside Historic Route 66—a fitting milestone for a landmark that has traveled its own extraordinary road.

Originally built as a hospital in 1926, the property underwent an extensive four-year renovation that transformed the historic building into Hotel Parq Central as it stands today. Studio SW Architects is proud to have played a significant architectural role in preserving its historic character while helping give this Albuquerque landmark a vibrant new life.

A century of history, preservation and hospitality—and still welcoming guests from around the world.

Happy 100th, Hotel Parq Central!

The Imagination Station is officially open! ✨💡

We’ve won some exciting new projects, and our Swarchies are already dreaming, sketching and bringing big ideas to life—exploring how each design can conserve energy, respond to our climate, support occupant well-being, strengthen communities and remain resilient for years to come.

Fresh projects. Big possibilities. Let the creativity begin!

Studio SW Architects was proud to sponsor CREDA New Mexico’s 2026 Gubernatorial Candidate Luncheon—bringing New Mexico’s leaders and business community together for meaningful conversation about the future of our state.

Our President, Laura Anderson, also took the stage to spotlight Studio SW’s work across New Mexico and the communities we’re helping shape.

We’re proud to be part of the conversation—and even prouder to help build what comes next.

A little strategy before heading back to school.

When our Architects' and Project Managers' kids spend a little time at the office, even a desk becomes a chess table.

Curiosity, problem-solving and thinking a few moves ahead feel right at home here.

And with school back in session today, here's to keeping an extra eye out for our kids along the way. ❤️

It was great to be back at the UNM School of Architecture + Planning Career Fair.

We enjoyed meeting students, talking about the profession, and sharing what we do at Studio SW.

Jennifer Penner, Steven Osborn and Theodore Edaakie did a great job representing the firm and connecting with future designers.

A little collaboration goes a long way.

Each month, Studio SW team members pursuing architectural licensure gather weekly to review ARE exam material, share knowledge, and support one another through the process.

We're proud to celebrate their successes and support their journey toward licensure.
