K'é, a Navajo principle rooted in kinship and mutual respect. It reminds us that every person is connected, and that those connections should be honored through how we treat each other.

At DMA, K'é shapes how we work: with humility, with care, and with the understanding that people come before projects.

Walking through the lobby of the Montezuma Creek Health Center feels like walking through the canyons that surround it.

Natural river rock lines the lobby floor, a continuous mural runs the length of the back wall, and stone walls echo the rugged texture of the nearby mountains. Curved ceilings and high windows draw in natural light, shaping a space that feels less like a hallway and more like a walk through the surrounding landscape.

Every motif and material choice reflects Navajo culture and tradition.

We design healthcare facilities around the patients, providers, and communities they serve.

From wellness clinics to full-scale medical centers, every project balances patient care, staff workflow, and easy community access. We design each one with compassion and clarity, so the space works as well for the people healing as it does for the people caring for them.

Today marks twenty-five years since September 11, 2001. We pause to remember all those we lost, and to honor the resilience of the communities who continue to carry their memory forward.

Our brand isn't just a logo, it's how we work: rooted in respect, shaped by community, built for the people who use the space.

Whether it's a Tribal community or a local civic partner, the goal stays the same: architecture that belongs to its place.

A district office designed to work as hard as the crews it supports. 🏢

NTUA's Red Mesa District Office (14,344 SF) brings efficient, collaborative workspace to NTUA staff, with skylights and views that connect every space to the surrounding landscape. A dedicated warehouse keeps field crews equipped, while customer service areas, conference rooms, and an outdoor courtyard serve the community NTUA supports.

The east-facing entrance and canopy honor Navajo culture, and materials drawn from the land tie this office into NTUA's district offices across the Navajo Nation.

Proud to have designed a space this rooted in place.
