825 holes drilled. Maybe a few future tradespeople in the making…

Our SDV team had a great time at the AGC New Mexico Heavy Equipment Rodeo, giving students the chance to get behind the equipment, try something new, and get a feel for what a career in the skilled trades can look like.

A day of running equipment, learning new skills, and seeing the work come together might be all it takes to spark an interest in a career they’ve never considered before!

We’re proud to help give students that opportunity — because the future of construction depends on introducing the next generation to the trades and showing them just how much they can build, and the pride that comes with building your community.

A little behind the scenes of Pistons for Patriots!
While the cars, vendors, music, and activities may be what people see, there’s a LOT that happens behind the scenes to bring an event like this together.

We’re grateful to our SDV Construction team members who volunteered their time helping with setup, tear down, coordinating throughout the weekend, ushering, welcoming guests, and taking care of all the little details that help make the event run smoothly.

These are only some of the people behind the scenes who helped make Pistons for Patriots happen this August. We’re proud of our team and grateful for the opportunity to work together in support of our local veteran community.

ONE TEAM – ONE GOAL! We’re proud to share that SDV Construction has once again received ABC STEP Diamond recognition and the Platinum Level CLAS Partnership.

These programs recognize our continued focus on safety, strong safety practices, and creating a safe environment for our team members in the field and in the office.

Thank you to ABC New Mexico for another great luncheon and for continuing to support safety across New Mexico’s construction industry. We’re proud of our SDV team and the work they put in every day to make safety a priority.

Construction doesn’t always mean you have to shut down your facility until the work is completed! When a facility needs to stay operational during construction, every detail matters – from phasing and scheduling to communication, safety, and minimizing disruptions to day to day operations.

At SDV, we understand the construction on-site is only part of the project. We coordinate the construction process around YOUR operations, helping keep your organization moving while improvements take shape.

Renovate with a plan. Keep operations moving.

You have an organization to run. Your construction projects should not become another full-time job for you to manage.

Construction projects come with plenty of moving parts – from budgets and schedules, to design and permitting, materials and procurement, quality control and communication with architects and specialty contractors, etc.

The right construction partner helps manage those details so you can stay focused on your organization and it’s goals. We believe our clients should have confidence in where their project stands and what comes next.

Construction takes strength. But strength doesn’t mean carrying everything alone.

We show up for the job, for our crew, and for the people waiting for us at home. That same mindset should extend to our mental health.

Look out for your crew. Start the conversation. Be willing to listen intently.

Because every person’s life is valuable – and every person deserves to make it home.

Safety isn’t just about the jobsite. It’s about the people on it. Sometimes, simply asking, “How are you really doing?” can open the door to a conversation that someone really needs.

Take a minute. Check on your people. You never know what someone may be carrying.
