Making waves in New Mexico! 🌊🏖️

We are honored to bring home two awards from this years American Subcontractors Association - New Mexico Annual Industry Awards!

The first award of the night was the High 505 Recognition for our dedication and service to the New Mexico community. One of the largest ways we support the community is through Pistons For Patriots, Albuquerque's largest car show, where 100% of net proceeds go directly to local veterans through our beneficiary Paws and Stripes!

Our second award of the night was the 2026 Small Project of the Year for our outstanding work at the BioPark Mediterranean/Lebanese Garden! Thank you to all SDV Employees who made this award winning project possible.

Thank you again to ASA NM for making this award ceremony possible and we look forward to more to come!

Congratulations to Elvin, one of our carpenter apprentices, on your Tool Scholarship from 🎉

Elvin earned this $1,333 Tool Scholarship due to his exceptional work in the apprenticeship program. The scholarship will help offset the cost of tools, work gear, equipment and other essentials needed to continue building his successful career. Elvin was the only Carpentry Apprentice to earn this honor and we couldn't be more proud to have him as part of our SDV family!

Thank you to the Better Business Bureau Serving New Mexico & Southwest Colorado for making this scholarship possible, helping the next generation of professionals both here at SDV Construction and across New Mexico and Southwest Colorado!

Every month, our team comes together for our Mass Safety Meeting - a time to focus on what matters most: getting everyone home safe.

This month’s topic: Trailer Loading, Unloading & Securement

The major risk when transporting equipment occurs during the loading and unloading procedure. Following a few basic guidelines can help ensure safe equipment transport. This month we put these guidelines into practice as we held hands on training for all field members to learn how to properly load, unload and secure trailers.

Safety training days like this are about preparation and confidence. The more we train, the better equipped we are to protect ourselves and support one another - on site, at work, and beyond.
