Last week, Dean Linsmeier closed out 38 years as a crane operator at Wells' Valder facility, celebrating with stories, cake, and the team members who became friends along the way.

He's trading the cab for the outdoors: time with family, hunting, and fishing.

They call her the EHS queen, and after nearly two decades at Wells, she's earned the crown. Vanessa Ramirez started out learning the business firsthand in manufacturing and field operations. Now, as Senior Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety, she runs the safety strategy for every Wells facility and job site. "I've always said I'm in the people business," Vanessa says. "That hasn't changed. My goal is to make sure every team member feels heard, valued, and safe."
