☠️ A dead outlet might not seem like a big deal at first. Most people just shrug it off or figure it’s a quick fix. But sometimes that dead outlet is just the tip of the iceberg.

Take a look at these wires we found hidden behind an outlet. They were overheating, and you’d never know it from the outside.

If that heat keeps building up inside your walls, it can damage more wiring and even start a fire.🔥

So if an outlet suddenly stops working, feels hot, looks a little burned, or just keeps acting up, don’t ignore it. And don’t just swap out the outlet and cross your fingers.

There’s a good chance there’s something bigger going on that you can’t see.

Mike had a dream.🛌

A few tools.

And just enough confidence to think, “How hard could electrical work really be?”

Turns out… pretty hard.

By day, Mike watched tutorials.
By night, he tried to worked his magic.

He swapped outlets.
Added circuits.
Opened the panel.

And somewhere between “I got this” and “Why does it smell like that?”…

Mike became Tragic Mike.

Now the lights are flickering, the breaker won’t stop tripping, and Mike’s big DIY performance is getting a review from the one audience he never wanted:
