Progress continues on the Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics project in Chattanooga, Tennessee, as the 54,700-square-foot facility’s core and shell are fully enclosed and interior construction moves forward on both floors.

Interior work is progressing, with second-floor millwork, cabinetry, trim, and custom woodwork nearing completion and flooring installation set to begin soon. On the first floor, framing is complete, and drywall is nearing completion as taping and painting progress. The team is also installing utilities and preparing the advanced MRI and CT imaging suites.

Once complete, the facility will feature an expanded orthopaedic clinic, an Urgent + Ortho Walk-In Clinic, physical and occupational therapy suites, and advanced diagnostic imaging services all under one roof.

When the BBL Bell rings, there’s something to celebrate!

The BBL Bell has been part of our Albany headquarters since 2001. The tradition began with BBL founder Don Led Duke, who wanted a way to let everyone know when something good had happened. Today, the bell rings at 4:00 p.m. whenever BBL signs a new construction contract, marking the start of another project worth celebrating.

Recently, Jesse Holland of Sunrise Management & Consulting had the honor of ringing the bell following the signing of the contract for the Eastline Apartments in Malta, NY.
This celebration represents more than just one project. With additional projects underway and on the horizon with Sunrise, including Bocrest Fields and The Century House, Jesse ringing the bell was a chance to celebrate the continued partnership between our two teams and all that’s ahead.

We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with Jesse and the entire Sunrise Management & Consulting team.

Congratulations to CVES BOCES and the entire project team on the official ribbon cutting of the new Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center in Plattsburgh, NY!

BBL Construction Services provided construction services for this approximately 154,000-square-foot, two-story CTE Training Facility, along with an approximately 11,300-square-foot accessory annex building. The new facility features high-bay spaces with accompanying classrooms, additional classroom and program spaces, a dining and conference area, and a dedicated school food hub.

We’re excited to see this new facility provide expanded opportunities for career and technical education and workforce development throughout the North Country.

BBL’s 4th Annual End of Summer BBQ Picnic and Grillmaster Competition was a success!

8 of our talented Grillmasters served up their best dishes for a panel of 6 judges, who selected the Top 3 Grillmasters of 2026. Our team enjoyed sampling all the delicious creations, playing outdoor games, and spending an afternoon together as we wrapped up the summer season.

A sincere thank you to our planning committee and BBL Hospitality for providing additional food, sides, and beverages!

BBL recently completed the new CVES BOCES Plattsburgh Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center in Plattsburgh, NY!

The approximately 154,078-square-foot, two-story CTE Training Facility provides modern learning environments designed to support career and technical education for high school and adult students. The facility features 10 high-bay spaces with accompanying classrooms, 18 additional classroom and program spaces, a large dining and conference area, and a dedicated school food hub. The project also included an approximately 11,343-square-foot accessory annex building.

The new facility provides expanded opportunities for workforce development and helps prepare students for careers that align with the needs of the North Country region.

Take a look at the completed Texas Orthopedics new Barton Creek location in Austin, Texas!

The two-story, 29,122-square-foot facility includes 22,956 square feet of clinical space and 6,211 square feet dedicated to physical therapy. BBL’s work included interior demolition, 3D scanning, and design for the new space.

The new South Austin location provides general orthopedics, sports medicine, joint replacement, spine care, physical medicine and rehabilitation, orthopedic trauma care, and rheumatology, along with onsite physical therapy and in-house imaging.

We’re excited to celebrate the official groundbreaking of a new 10,500-square-foot Medical Office Building for MedStar Shah Medical Group in Waldorf, MD. BBL is honored to continue our work with MedStar Shah, having also built the group’s existing facility on St. Patrick’s Drive, which opened in 2020.

The new facility will feature 29 exam rooms and sit alongside the existing building, bringing the two facilities together to create a connected medical campus. The project will also include shared access, updated parking, and improved walkways for patients and visitors, expanding the campus to better serve the Waldorf community.

BBL was delighted to continue our support of Colonie Senior Service Centers, Inc. at this year’s Beltrone Golf Classic!

It was a great day on the course, all while supporting an important cause. Proceeds from the tournament benefit CSSC’s Transportation Services, helping seniors safely and affordably get to medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, senior dining sites, community activities, and more.

BBL recently completed an interior renovation at Capital Region Health Park, transforming a vacant suite into a new office for Sitwell Dental. The renovation included 11 treatment rooms, a sterile room, lab, panoramic X-ray, break room, offices, and updated waiting and reception areas.

Utilizing a design-build delivery our team orchestrated a comprehensive renovation, ensuring the new space could be tailored to meet their operational needs. Each treatment room was equipped with the necessary medical gas, vacuum, compressed air, and power connections for the dental chair and wall-mounted X-ray equipment.

BBL associates took a break this afternoon to enjoy a visit from Mr. Ding-A-Ling! Our last ice cream truck visit was such a hit that we decided to treat everyone to another sweet afternoon.
